Sunrise at the Farm
I was awake just after 6:00. The sky was really pretty. Out the door I went. The air was chilly and sunrise wasn’t until 6:28. I took tons of pictures and still don’t know why none of the landscape can be seen. I was initially afraid it was too light outside. I sent this pic to the grands as they were getting ready for school, my good morning note to them. No one was up yet so headed back to the warmth of my bed and grabbed the Kindle. We had breakfast around 8:00. The crew had a productive day and they are still at it. The back deck steps are painted and put together. The rain barrel needs one final coat of paint. The front rain barrel is cleaned, vacuumed and ready to catch tomorrow’s storm waters. I made a Philly cheesesteak casserole and slaw for lunch. It was so good I plan to make another one tomorrow. The property has been trimmed. The side by side was power washed. I cleaned the front porch and walked Sugar over and over. They are planting wildflowers along the roadway at the moment. Hubby is getting our groceries. I think he is there now but I cannot open the pic he just sent. Service is spotty. Some days, it takes forever to publish my blip and I am unable to make a phone call. We are expecting rain for the next few days. Tonight we will have leftover turkey and then plan to sit out by the fire pit. It may be our only opportunity this trip. Wishing you a relaxing evening. Stay safe. Thanks for stopping by. "If you are in a beautiful place where you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset, then you are living like a lord (or lady)." - Nathan Phillips
