Cat proof

My lettuce plants have all taken well so it is now just a question of stopping the yard cats from digging them up. I got the market shopping done in record time this morning, did a few jobs and then went to the tennis lesson. It was the first time this year that we have had to contend with the heat when playing. No one came to French conversation so I took some pans down to the repurposed old people’s home. The council have refurbished the building into flats for people who are vulnerable or potentially homeless and they put out an appeal for kitchen equipment. We have a lot of pans which now do not work on the induction hob so it was good that we could pass them on to a good cause.
