Ancient Passageway

Some of you will be familiar with Skara Brae and its 5000 year old stone age village. We'd seen the photos and now we've looked at the actual remains. A fascinating insight into the past, but I'm a little wary of over interpretation.  Living underground must have been strange, but their context and expectations would be so different to ours.

Only one photo today because the drama of the day was Bramble being quite unwell. Briefly, she was sick three times this morning, was very unsteady on her feet, and her eyes and head were moving from side to side.  Off to the vets, who diagnose that it was likely to be an ear infection. So it is wait and see for how quickly she recovers, but we won't be taking her on walks till she improves. I'm sure BrambleBlossom will post updates if I don't.
