Notes: Woke early and got up a bit after 6a. The long-awaited driveway sealing day and knew I'd have to move car outside at some point. They were to arrive in the a.m. I canceled the Amtrak trip, sent Mom a May Day text and mentioned maybe visiting the end of the month. I waited awhile to see if the guys would show and then headed out ... checked a place for gas but skipped it. On to Aldi, Ellen from St Pete called on my way there, she's in VA and her dad just died. She went up to help and then he passed on Tues - she seems near a breaking point. Got a bagful of stuff again at Aldi (went thru a whole bag of kale in just a couple days!). Put my suit on and sat out back for awhile, nice sun and light breeze. In and out several times ... made another batch of kombucha jello as I warmed water to try the Ryze Matcha, and did another lemon whipped cream - the driveway guys finally arrived just before 1p. They were in and out in a very short time. I went back outside for a bit, later got the Mother's Day card ready. We can't use the driveway so took the dogs to the mailbox but had to carry them across the street when going out the side door (they know where the electric fence is even tho not wearing their collars) - they both pooped so knew the after-dinner outside wouldn't need to be extensive. Warmed up leftovers when I got back and washed a handful of strawberries. Fed the dogs then and just took them out in the yard before taking my shower - chest and belly actually got fairly red. Looked a couple times and saw it was right at 9p so got the dogs out, took my allergy pill and drops and closed everything up ... when I got into the bedroom, it showed only 845p - so weird! Was tired tho so got ready for bed.
