Celebratory bubbles
It is Margret’s 88th birthday today.
Mark and Sarah invited me to join the birthday lunch. I suggested the Duke of Wellington in Newton. The food was lovely. Margret chose two starters instead of a main and she enjoyed those.
I had prawn cocktail then duck leg. Both were delicious.
Sarah had brought along tiny pots of bubble mixture so we had fun with these before the food came. (The people on the next table did move elsewhere and I suspect we were a bit noisy for them.)
Mark shot off to meet the third estate agent. I took Margret with Sarah back to the home. There were cards and presents to open. I arranged a bunch of flowers from one young couple. There was a lovely present from the staff and residents of the home: a knitted cotton jumper. Margret loved it and it fitted.
Back home I am planning to do some photo editing, but Daisy is firmly planted on my knee…..
