Seen in Passing
The weather was thankfully cooler today but, as thunderstorms were forecast for the afternoon, we followed a not-too-long waymarked route down into the town and up to the forest to the north. It may seem odd to feature an organ for such a walk but, having had what was meant to be a quick look at the church as we went past, the organ was AMAZING. The church itself (Saints Peter & Paul) has had a complicated history, being rebuilt, enlarged, etc, down the years so it's now a mix of gothic & modern, and the organ is definitely modern, being installed in the 1990s.

As extras there are various other things we noticed en route, from a brewery to a sculpture as part of a peace project, erected on the ruins of the base of a early 1900s sanatorium which was never completed.
