Moving south

We had a good drive southwards, stopping in Moffat for a very tasty light lunch, and all went well until we hit a stationary line of traffic a couple of miles north of Penrith.. We crawled along to the Penrith junction where we needed to come off the M6 for our camping spot for tonight. It appears that the big hold-up had been caused by the volume of traffic on the A66 and I’m glad that was all it was. Our wee five-van campsite is very well appointed, spacious and peaceful with long views westward to the Lake District hills.
