Bank Holiday Monday

The lane that leads to the dog walking meadow is leafy and green, a far cry from how it looked a couple of months ago.

The weather has been quite muddled up today but mainly cool with a gusty north wind which brought a considerable wind chill. Moments of sunshine felt bliss.

I’ve walked with Merlin and Andy this morning and this afternoon, made a couple of loaves of bread and spent several hours at the allotment preparing beds for plants I hope to put in over the coming days. It felt good to be outside being active in all the weather. It rained at one point, the first time in many weeks.
