Today's Blip Photo

I thought I would not have a photo to upload today but then saw an opportunity in something this evening. This is a single image which has been cropped but otherwise unedited, apart from a couple of very minor adjustments. 
I am not asking anyone to guess what it is, but if you have time and do want to comment I would be interested in what you see and whether it makes you think of anything in particular.
