Azalea

We had another beautiful Spring day. Hubby was in the Knight’s color corps for the county’s Law Enforcement Appreciation Day Event. It included a delectable lunch that he had to tell me all about. I had leftover Cinco de Mayo fare. He picked up Brooklyn from school afterwards. I looked up how to treat heal pain and basically, it said to elevate your foot and rest it. That was my plan for the day. Sometimes, plans just don’t work out. I went outside to check how my flowers survived the rain storm. As you can see, this azalea is fine. As I walked to the vegetable garden, I could hardly believe all the weeds, flowers and tomato plants that had sprouted through the mulch. It took over an hour but it’s seedling free for the moment. Breakfast was eaten on our front porch with prayers said. Lauren and I had a nice chat. She is always finding me treasures. This time it was a free unopened bag of premium birdseed. I will get it at River’s game tomorrow. I changed our bed linens and washed a load of laundry. I was folding it when hubby got home. We went down to check our camper and that’s where I am at the moment. Camper is fine. I might rest my heal this evening. Hoping you find everything ship shape at your end as well. Stay safe. Thanks for your visit. “Looking out of my window this lovely spring morning I see an azalea in full bloom.” - Charles Sanders Peirce
