Beauty is all around us.

A Calendula flower.

The Feast Day of Saint John of Beverley.. he died in 721.

Today is beautiful, sunny and cold Wednesday. It is 19.3c in the living room.

I went out for our newspaper and to give J her copy of last week's The People's Friend.

The pigeon was being friendly as I watered the garden. The Apple Tree has signs of fruit, as does the Tayberry. Many Strawberry plants have flowers and small fruit.

Since the bird feeding pole was taken down, less pigeons visit but we still get plenty of hungry starlings and small garden birds. The blackbirds sing beautifully in the morning and evening.

I am now going to plant Sage, thyme and parsley in a large flowerpot, so they can have root space to grow.

Enjoy Wednesday blip friends and thank you for visiting today.
