VE80

Sadly, it isn't a Bank Holiday over here. :(

We managed to catch a glimpse of the VE80 celebrations, which kick off today, so I made a mental note of when to put the TV on. It was great to get a message from rachelwhynot saying she was in Central London for it. So cool. I think if G had been in the country, she would have gone into town as well.

So, my offering for the day is two screenshots. It's always great to see these parades. The thought and detail that goes into putting it together is phenomenal, especially to get aeroplanes to fly over with split-second timing.

G started to pack her bag, and it's looking as if she will get everything she wants to take with her in the carry-on trolley. We went out for a Pakistani meal at one of our favourite restaurants. G wanted to have a meal with flavour before three weeks of simpler food.
