Covered

We'd talked about covering the Volvo over as it is getting hotter by the day, so today, after waking earlier than normal and getting ready for the day, we took the cover that I ordered from Amazon weeks ago. After spending quite a lot of time to ensure that I got the correct size (the Volvo is nearly 5 metres long), I finally opened it.

What a relief to find it fits perfectly. I think I was out of the return window. It was fairly effortless. Car covers have come a long way from when my Dad used to get them custom-made in stores in Deira.

My other picture is of G ready to leave for the airport. Her new striped t-shirt suits her really well. All went well on that front, and I heard hours later that she had arrived safely in Larnaca, almost an hour ahead of schedule. It is ten degrees centigrade cooler over there. NICE.

I had a quiet day, finishing off the work day and then tidying up things in the flat.
