You've got to have red in a picture

I woke up way before my alarm today. My phone was buzzing. It was my elder sister informing us of Indian planes bombing areas not far from where she lives. Yikes.

I reckoned it was a good time to get up and get going. I had to get myself ready and prepare a packed lunch. Thrilled it all got done and I was at my desk at 8:30, and proceeded to have a good and productive day at the office.

My blip was taken during lunch. I love the green area (garden?) near Emirates Towers. The lone flame tree is putting up a fine show. We are coming up to the time when Dubai will be red, orange and even yellow. It's so cool.

Back home and I have caught up with this week's blips and now watching the seagull sitting next to the chimney of the Sistine Chapel, almost as if it is also waiting with bated breath to find out who the next Pope will be!
