Sunset

It’s been a lovely sunny and warm day. This might have been summer. This morning A number of us were meant to have an ‘away day’, which really just meant meeting away from our desks, but meeting in person. I was in person, all by myself, speaking to the rest of my colleagues on Teams. This is not what has been planned. At least we had a very good chat, and covered a lot of ground, with a few actions to move things on.

Later there were more meetings, and because it was such a nice day, I left a little earlier than normal. My bus turned up very late, so I didn’t get home much earlier than normal.

I then walked up the road with someone I don’t know very well, only for him to tell me that his marriage had broke down. I was not expecting this conversation at all, so it was all quite tricky. I was glad to get home.

I had tea, then went for a walk. On my way home I bumped into TT who was home late, having been out after work on a birthday celebration.

BB had another exam today, which also seemed to go well. They unwound in the park, in the sun, with a few beers again. Oh yo be a student, we’ll maybe without the exams!

There was a lovely sunset this evening. The extra is of the clouds when I got home.
