VE Day

It's VE Day (Victory in Europe Day) celebrating 80 years since the end of WW2. I've been doing jobs in the garden, and this afternoon popped to Monmouth (South Wales, UK) and after some shopping took the photo' of the town's War Memorial decked out in celebration.  The memorial is one I like most as it has a very mature Indian Bean tree in it's garden, and we have one just a few years old in our front garden!

Thanks to those Brave souls that made the ultimate sacrifice to give us the freedom we enjoy today.
