Art in the Afternoon

This morning I did some cleaning - I don’t know how two of us - well three actually - can make such a mess. Bella is one culprit, then Frank, then me. 
The amount of hairs that dog sheds is unbelievable and also there were paw prints from the conservatory door through to the kitchen. All mopped away now. 
This afternoon my friend Pip came to do some art with me. We had a pleasant time with background music on, sometimes chatting and then not chatting, while we were concentrating on what each of us was doing.
Pip is good at watercolours and landscape. I’m not so good at landscape or perspective. 
I ordered a book which arrived today on painting with gouache, it’s good and I may try it tomorrow if I have time.
Choir tomorrow but Sue our leader won’t be there as she had a pacemaker fitted yesterday and is a bit weary so Nicky, the vicars wife is going to lead us.

A new Pope today, Leo XIV. He looks a kindly man, I hope he does a good job.
