Armenteira to Vilanova de Arousa

Another long day's walking ( 24km) but less ascent than yesterday. We started with a delightful 7km downhill walk beside a river called the Stone and Water route. There were many old water Mills, some now restored, and lovely lush vegetation.  See blip. We were glad to have two walking poles, each, because of the tree roots and rocks underfoot as well as the steep descent.
Later we walked beside a wider river and then in the hills past many vineyards, before finally arriving at the coast and walking along the shore to the old fishing village of Vilanova de Arousa.
Extra shows a typical old communal laundry tank, one of many we have come across over the past few days. This one looks as if it might still be used for some kinds of washing?
A second extra for blip catlovers!
