A call for peace

A late night last minutes blip as we've had friends round for dinner and I've not had a chance to consider today's blip. It's been a great evening.

This morning I made the Call for Peace to the quarters, a little prior to the laying of the VE80 wreath, at the memorial which cries out Victory, while the Sun blazed down over the sun symbol atop the memorial.

"We stand here in gratitude for the peace in our lives, and call for peace in (the East, in the South, in the West and in the North). May there be peace in all the worlds."

Then the VE80 Proclamation was made and the wreathe laid. A small but heart fully made ceremony. No road closure, no big deal... I think we all felt it better for less pageantry, what with war still being fought in Europe.

We're only a few days off Full Moon. It's a time we've set aside for such things for the past ten years or so.
