A new garden to play in
This is the view from my newest project. The garden slopes down towards the lake, there is no grass in the back yard, it is all gardens and pathways. There is room for more plants to be added. Today was cleanup day, we hauled 3 truckloads of wet leaves out of there.
The biggest problem in both the back and front yard, there is a lot of Baltic ivy growing. I still have to convince the owner that all of it needs to be removed. Some of it is covering a fence, and it will eventually bring the fence down. It is also growing into the other plants that are along the fence, and it will choke them out.
One job we did on Tuesday morning, the customer was not home when I got there. Mitchel got there early and he had spoke to him and showed him what he wanted done. Later on the customer called me and wondering why there were still some piles of debris in front of the house. I couldn't remember leaving any there, and thought there must be another area that he wanted raked. I told him we would go back today. When I got there this morning and we walked down the driveway together, he was looking and wondering where the piles went to. I told him we picked them up and raked everything on Tuesday morning. We did rake a couple of other small areas today. He didn't realize that we came, did the work, and moved on to other jobs on Tuesday.
