Raindrops on.....
Tulips.
Rain was in the forecast for most of the day today so I called it a rain day last night. The rain did stop for awhile this morning, so I went down to Sullivan's Pond to get some photos. Lots of tulips, narcissus and other flowers in bloom today. And most of them had raindrops on them.
People are really starting to look for help in their gardens now. Tomorrow evening I meet with one customer that we do a spring cleanup for, she wants some changes made in her backyard. Friday morning I have to leave the crew for a half hour and go down the street to meet with another new client. Friday afternoon I meet with another person for a quote, she put a post in one of the FB groups and I responded. Sunday afternoon I have another quote booked, and another one for Monday evening.
I had to take the truck in this afternoon for an oil change, plus it has been leaking oil again. The oil leak may be a serious problem, I have to make an appointment to take it to another place to get them to have a look at it. And hope that it doesn't need a whole new engine.
A sad story I have been following on the news this week. Two children, 4 and 6 years old, went missing from a rural home here in NS on May 2. The parents claim they went outside while they were sleeping. Over 100 Ground Search and Rescue people have been combing the woods, hoping to find the kids. Today it was announced that the search would be scaled back as their is little chance that the children would be found alive. The step father seems to be more upset than the mother. The mother has gone to stay with her mother in another part of Nova Scotia and the step father is saying that he has had only sporadic contact with her in the past few days. There is so much more to this story than what the RCMP are saying. They have only admitted that there is a crime investigation happening.
