WHAT AN ADVENTURE!

Good morning Lovely Blippers,

Happy Saturday to you all!  We have had a great adventure out in the garden this morning and it’s not even 9.30 yet!

We saw earlier in the week that Mr. HCB had put up both his contraptions, as we call them, which are actually large frames for his runner beans to run up.  Well, we had a little chat amongst ourselves and decided that we would try and get out into the garden early, before the sun was too hot, and have a play on one of the contraptions using it as a climbing frame. 

Mr. HCB heard us chatting together and said that if we did that, then we must understand that it was only to be done today and NOT once his runner beans were in the ground or even climbing up the contraptions.  Of course, we agreed, because we didn’t want to “blot our copy book” and do something we weren’t allowed to do.  While we were up on the contraption, we thought that dear Admirer would love to see us enjoying ourselves and when one or two of us fell down, she would have been the first to pick us up and giggle. 

It was quite hard climbing up - in fact, we had forgotten just how hard it is, but we all managed it, except Puss in Boots, Leighton and Zappi, but then, someone has to stay on the ground to catch any of us who fell.  You can see that even little Porlock managed to get partway up, but on his Mum’s back - so kind of her to wait for him!

We had a great time, and a bit later, some of us climbed right up to the very top - and we could see for miles and miles - well all over the garden anyway.  Mr. HCB has been out there since before 8 o’clock this morning and is still working, so we shouted to him and we all waved, so he waved back!  He is such a kind man to let us have this adventure today.

Which brings us on to our reminder to you all to BE KIND to one another - sometimes, when we are busy or when we are bad tempered, we can forget to BE KIND - and then it spoils the whole day.  We all need to remember that a little bit of KINDNESS goes a long way - and if we have upset someone or said something we shouldn’t have, then we need to apologise and put things right, without letting it go on and on, because that isn’t BEING KIND, in fact, it’s being selfish and that isn’t good.

P.S.  We were hoping to go to Morrisons with the HCBs to collect LOTS and LOTS of stuff from them today - 2 very large trolleys full - but Mr. HCB said that the boot and the back seats of the car will be too full and there will be no room for us, so we will just have to wait to see what they bring back.  Most of the things are what people buy to put in the big trolleys and then the HCBs collect it and put it all into their car and take it to Church tomorrow ready for lots of it to go in the Bags of Hope - aren’t people KIND!
