Another sunny day was forecast. Before it got too hot I wanted to tidy the areas around the bird feeders now that the birds have decided they don’t need to supplement their diet with my seeds etc.

Years ago I bought an Olympus Pen F camera. I thought it would be fun to use, but I had more success with summer street shots and moody mono landscapes than anything else. Then, early in the pandemic my heavier Olympus EM5 broke and I found a bargain EM1 online to replace it. This camera was so easy to hold and operate that I used it most of the time and the little Pen got shut in a drawer. Today it emerged into the daylight. I charged the battery, familiarised myself with the controls and took it for a walk.
