Reed Warbler (and Great Crested Grebe sequence)

We nipped down to RSPB Ham Wall for a wander in lovely hot sunshine... Remarkably we got an early start (for us) and were on site by just after nine and before most of the visitors had arrived.

The trees are now all arraigned in their new green finery, and that makes it hard to see some of the smaller birds - although you can certainly hear them! I did spot this reed warbler popping up for a few seconds and managed to get him in focus - using manual focus because the reeds really didn't play well with the auto...

I put the Crested Grebe sequence as an extra to persuade you to look Large. 'Momma tired, and it's time you went for a swim! Come off, off you get, you lazy humbugs...!'
