Fragrant wander

Bertie was very interested in the fragrance of fox during our afternoon wander, whereas the sweet smell of the May blossom bursting from the hedgerows was much more pleasant to the human nose. We really enjoyed  a wander through the rolling countryside of the Cotswolds in the warm sunshine from the campsite to the hamlet of Salperton. The birdsong was beautiful and we spotted a couple of yellow hammer, glorious in their bright yellow plumage.
