Medal

He gone and got a medal. 1st triathlon in many many years and very well he did too. 43rd out of 200+ other swimmers, cyclists and runners. 
Nicky B was there too and she came top in her category. But as they say it's the taking part that counts and that seemed to be the best bit. 
I didn't take part but did cheering on from the sidelines and drinking coffee in the sun. 

That was first thing so much time left in the afternoon for a pint and pizza in the pub, garden watering and crossword doing. 
And it's still not dark.
