The Vintry Garden
We were back in St Albans today, visiting our daughter.
The Vintry garden is a small, walled garden next to the cathedral. According to the "Enjoy St Albans" web site, "With a great Oak tree at is centre, the Vintry Garden contains over 20 rare trees including a Mulberry tree dating to the reign of Charles II (1660-85), a Pine treeplanted to mark the battle of Trafalgar (1805) and a Gingko tree (1860)". It is certainly a peaceful place to rest.
