Abort

By all accounts there were some sore heads this morning and I think a few people regretted booking the early flight / train back. Or regretted forgetting about it last night anyway. Himself and I weren't particularly sprightly but we'd booked on a late afternoon flight so had plenty of time for a bit more exploring, some amazing filled bagels for brunch and a couple of beers sitting in the sun by a canal. For a short break I can thoroughly recommend Den Haag (The Hague).

The flight home was delayed by about 20 mins as the pilot had to abort his incoming landing due to some particularly gusty winds. He managed toake some of it up - only for us to be stuck on the plane while they found some steps that fitted. It was still an easy journey and worth using the less popular London City and Rotterdam airports.

I'm packing for a two day work trip now..
