The day promised to be a scorcher, but didn't quite deliver... in the afternoon, the clouds came over. However, it was pleasant enough.

JR didn't manage to the gym again today, but she did take Archie on a big walk through the Hermitage. She hasn't been that way for ages, though Archie goes there often, of course.

I decided to take the used coffee pods down to recycle them in John Lewis - they sure build up rather quickly. Just a quick trip down in the bus, with maybe a wander round a few shops - M&S, Uniqlo... and in fact, I did step inside both of those shops, but turned right round and went out again. Could not be bothered. Anyway, I don't need anything.

There was a pretty good drum & guitar duo playing outside the galleries (Pink Floyd as I passed) and at the bus stop I had them AND the bagpiper across the road.
