Abundance

After our morning dog walk we met up with Andy’s friend again. We had a wander at Goodwood where preparations are underway for the Goodwoof dog festival taking place next weekend. Then we enjoyed lunch at The Kennels. Merlin joined us and sat quietly next to us as we dined. It was very busy and I think he enjoyed being amidst the chattering voices and watching the comings and goings.

As I lie in bed this evening I have the window open so I can hear the sound of the rain falling. It’s the first rain we’ve had in many weeks and the vegetation is desperately in need of a drink. These red clover are however looking abundant.
