Easy like Sunday morning!

Drove almost to Cockermouth, parking on Strawberry How then walked the different neighbourhoods of the town to see what they were like, calling in for an excellent coffee at the Moon and Sixpence.

A disastrous salad lunch from Lidl which claimed to be healthy yet contained 65g of carbs much of it as sugars in the various constituents.

Next we called in at Lakes Home Centre, coming away with more stuff we didn’t know we needed! On the way back to the flat we toured Roman Heights and Papcastle to get a feel for the areas.

We spent the evening with friends Adam and Jane (and Brody) being able to have dinner outside, watch the sun set and discussing a trip to Italy next year for snowshoeing.
