Behind the pond

The first bed we created, alongside the patio, is starting to mature quite nicely.  Sadly, one of the original larger shrubs we planted gave up the ghost this winter - we've replaced it.  The alliums are coming into flower.  This pink flower (I think it might be a helianthemum) seems to have come out overnight, I weeded this area only a few days ago, and didn't even notice buds.

I had a fairly lazy morning, but then it was an orchestra rehearsal in the afternoon - fun, but quite hard work with a concert approaching at the end of the month.
