The band

A day of domestic chores, and making the spare room habitable for Liz, who's coming to stay tomorrow night.

An evening of French dancing at the start of Holmfirth Festival of Folk. It started with our local eurofolk band (pictured) which plays for Le Vendredi Danse (French dancing sessions held once a month on Saturdays, bizarrely), and the dances were called. During the second half the music was by another group, Metheglin, and there was no calling. The dancing was suddenly a bit wilder and more chaotic, but really good fun!

Meanwhile, MrM had driven to Leeds to sell one of his guitars. He met me after the dance and we wandered around the town for a while searching for some music, unsuccessfully, before walking home.
