Mending
The casino night was a great success, enjoyed by all participants and full of fun. Final tally of money raised to come but we think we’ve exceeded our £1000 target.
Susan and I were both lucky to win spot prizes of sherry and rum respectively. Home by 11 and we both headed straight bed as we had over indulged slightly on the golf club prices for wine!
Early start though as I had my redesign class to get to for 10.30. We walked the dogs in lovely sunshine and I really enjoyed my bacon roll and cup of tea before heading into town,
I managed to mend a rather large hole in the sleeve of an admittedly very cheap cardigan which is years old but was gojng a bit crossed eyed by the end of the session.
Stayed in the cafe with one of the other participants for a delicious bowl of soup before heading home to take Phin out for a late afternoon walk at Newbattle.
Too tired and lazy to cook so Chippie tea was called for followed by an early night.
