Jedburgh Abbey

Today's the day . . . . . . . . . . to head eastwards

We spent the morning in the Borders' town of Jedburgh with a visit to the Abbey being the highlight.  It is probably the most complete of the Abbeys in this part of the country - and it gives a real sense of the size and magnificence of them.

We're now across on the east coast at the busy port of Eyemouth. Proper fish and chip supper down at the harbour!  Tomorrow we head home . . . . . . .
