The final pear
This pear is hanging on against all the odds. Just the one. All the rest are long gone. Some down Bean's throat. She is keeping a careful eye on this one, in the hope that it will drop right into her mouth just as she passes by. You never know...
It has been 21C today, much to my surprise and delight. I shed clothes steadily through the morning in Katrina's garden as the temperature went up and up.
I have opened windows and doors all over the place, so every cabin has been having a proper airing. It's a shame there wasn't any washing to go on the line this morning: it would have dried in a couple of hours and ended up with the scent of sunshine.
The afternoon has been spent in the study, with the doors wide open. There I have been working more on the art cards I Blipped a couple of days ago. Most of them are almost done now, maybe requiring just a few more tiny brush strokes to complete them. It turns out that less is more with this batch of cards.
Bean has been lying curled up on MY armchair again, wrapped up in her best blanket ever. The happiest of dogs.
