It's Tuesday so it must be the Mind Shop, although I didn't get there until 10 o'clock because my phone waylaid me ;-)
I've emailed the dealership about my car and am making notes every time something happens, e.g. from a standstill in the traffic light queue this morning I moved from neutral to first, but it didn't engage until I lifted the clutch a little. I suppose I should've depressed the clutch for a second time so first gear engaged fully.... but I was on autopilot.
I'm very conscious that this car needs to be driven much more carefully and slowly than my old ten year old diesel. It's still surprising me. It thought I was going to crash into the back of something on the ring road and the dashboard uttered a loud warning... which is good, even though I was in no danger of crashing! The start/stop technology was working on the way home, but it doesn't always work, perhaps something to do with the battery? But also on the way home I couldn't shift down from third to second... wonder if that's something to do with the revs. Anyway, I'd better walk to the allotment and plant the rainbow chard out.
