Out With The Old

……………………………..in with the new…windows that is! Two new windows fitted this afternoon in my kitchen and the wee one’s bedroom, then tomorrow the new patio doors (which are presently gracing my garden and provided my blip) will be fitted. Friday a new front door and hall window then the other three windows on my first floor will be done later this year. It will be so good to have properly fitted windows which I can open along with the bonus of windowsills inside…the bedroom looks so much bigger!

I pottered this morning…made some mac n cheese for an easy tea and popped up to M&S for a top up shop. I’ve spent a thoroughly lazy afternoon on the sofa, firstly giving myself a much needed manicure before settling down with a book. Out to camera club tonight for a tour around Simpsons Malt, one of the largest local employers in Berwick. It’s been a grey day after all the recent sunshine…and none too warm with the front door open and missing windows! Tomorrow looks like it’ll be a clean up day!
