The Mast

Not another photo of the mast I hear you groan but yes sadly it has been a major part of my life; a beacon of homecoming. I am fascinated by it and it takes on a different aspect with every day, with every weather that is thrown at it and is a topic of conversation that is pretty normal in our household. 

A conversation might go:
'How are you? What's the weather doing? Can you see the mast?'
or
'The weather is just awful we can only see the top/bottom or nothing of the mast .... ' depending.

Then you have the line of cloud through the mast tho' what that bodes I'm not too sure. 

I know this is weird but I know I'm not on my own with this: the sight of the mast as you round the bend on the M1 and see it silhouetted against the sky or not depending on the weather. Again another topic of conversation. I just love that moment though. I suppose it's like a beacon, like a lighthouse.
