On to Perthshire
Another (is this getting redundant?) gorgeous day! My friends came to Prestonfield House and we had an amazing lunch. While I was waiting outside for them to bring the car around, Colin the Peacock came to say goodbye! (He was really looking for an afternoon snack.). On our way to Perthshire, we made a stop to see the Forth Rail Bridge built in 1890. It was the bridge my train crossed when I came from Dundee. Now, Henry and I are at Their beautiful house. Henry took his wee suitcase up the stairs, I took the lift! Off to see Glamis Castle, the ancestral home of the Bowes-Lyon family, the late queen mother’s home, tomorrow and our beautiful weather will continue.
