Double Take

This scene is outside the most visited modern art gallery in Scotland - the Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA) in Royal Exchange Square, Glasgow. And the equestrian figure of the Duke of Wellington with a traffic cone on his head is one of the city's most iconic images. Who places the cone there is a mystery, but it reflects the gallus humour of the Glaswegians and the practice dates back about 40 years. However, this is the first time I've seen the horse sporting a traffic cone as well!

In my shot, the couple standing in front of it are taking a picture of themselves with a phone and obviously picking up the statue in their shot. I like the double-take aspect to this blip!
