Sunset waters
Sunsets have been sadly missing from my journal this year - but tonight we go off seeking what promises to be a good one.
There’s the usual debate about the best vantage point before deciding on Llanfairfechan - further west and overlooking Anglesey. The tide is low, so I know there will be tidal channels on the sands to offer good reflections.
It’s not as calm as last night when I missed a gorgeous sunset due to our camera club AGM, but tonight’s doesn’t not disappoint. The sky’s colours intensify as the sun slips down behind Ynys Mon, and two tiny figures with an even tinier dog are kind enough to walk along the furthest reaches of the beach just where the rivulets have turned to fiery orange.
Llanfairfechan has the added benefit of the shoreside pond or lake, its stillness offering another opportunity for reflections of the sunset skies, and even the resident swans are kind enough to pose!
There’s an inevitable watery sunset set today - thanks to Bobsblips for hosting!
