Plastering About.

Following on from our Open Studios visits, Pat attended a one day class to take place at Elmwood Agricultural College Farm. The subject is moulding plaster tiles and ornaments.

I drove Pat to the studio at the college in the morning and arranged to drive her home in the late afternoon.

Meantime I had ‘things to do and people to see’ in nearby Letham. I grew up in Letham, and left there in 1982 to stay in Dunblane.

A group of friends got together to ‘Plant  A Tree in Seventy three.’ Actually we planted about 100 trees.p

The extra photo shows the trees now adorning The Row which is the ‘main street’.

What a difference in 52 years.

The main entry photo shows the results of Pat’s plaster moulding efforts. She did very well.

She is not sponsored by ‘Glenfiidich’. The PVC apron is ideal for laying the mouldings on as they continue to dry out.
