Welcome To The Jungle

“No Mow May” continues, as you can see. Mrs C not at all happy as she is trying to keep the flowerbeds tidy and weed free. Despite my protestations about providing a natural environment for the local wildlife, she snapped and, just after I took the photo, cut down the rose that can be seen sprouting in the middle of the lawn.
If the weather forecasts are to be believed, the rains will come at the end of next week. That makes sense as it will be the Bank Holiday weekend! So I may be forced to actually get the mower out this time next week. Thanks to a previous lack of activity in “Can’t Be Arsed April”, that could mean I will only have cut the lawn twice this year, by the end of May. Not bad going, if I say so myself…
