On The Beach

Took a walk into town this afternoon to post a letter and grab a coffee. Usually a Sunday activity but we’re off to Nottingham this weekend to see Eric Clapton in concert.
Walked back along the river, and discovered that Kendal now has a beach. A bit stony, but that didn’t seem to be putting people off, and the dogs were having a whale of a time racing in and out of the shallow water!
I wonder if I should borrow a few sun beds and make a few quid renting them out? And I’m surprised no enterprising person hasn’t thought of parking an ice cream van by the end of the bridge. Got to make the most of Costa del Kendal!
