Rock Roses

On Tuesday I left in a bit of a hurry for my pedicure and found that I had forgotten my flipflops rather than my closed shoes to go home in. Kind K lent me a pair of her Mother's, albeit several sizes too small and with very shiny leather soles. Glad there weren't too many people around to see me skiing without poles on my way home!! 

This morning I returned Mum's flipflops with thanks, she has a fabulous garden and I loved this mound of Rock Roses and something pink as you go down the drive.

 I had a quick pop into town for a few bits and chats round every corner, then armed with a wee pressie and Thank You card for our lovely friends B&M, who kindly took us to the Fleetwood Mac Tribute concert last Friday, friend R and I spent a lovely lunch and afternoon with them.

Meanwhile Mr HB took his model aeroplanes for an outing, the first time in 6 weeks. I'm so glad he's feeling better.
