DC View From Meridian Hill

This view is from the Penthouse rooftop at Ame Meridian in Columbia Heights in Northwest DC. Today’s clouds were a perfect backdrop for the US Capitol Building.
The extra has the Washington Monument. Behind the monument, you can see the South Capitol Street Bridge. 
My husband was taking measurements for a job, and I joined him. The building’s Service Manager took me up to the penthouse so I could take some photos.  This would be a great place to watch the fireworks on the Fourth of July.
