CELEBRATING…

Day 2 of birthday fun….O rang last night to say “pack a small overnight bag and remember a swimsuit and I’ll meet you at the station at 2pm”…then he said 3pm…so I pottered about, walked the dog then checked my phone…several missed calls…
”all plans change, meet me at 6pm…Dad’s coming too..leave your overnight bag!!”

Apparently the hotel he’d booked had put in the wrong date.. :(((

#However we both met O and had an absolutely fabulous evening at Claridges.
#We were gifted a glass of bubbly,
#the starters (tempura prawns, fried chicken and lobster croquettes) and the fish course (scallops)…it’s who you know..thanks chef O
#O and I shared the lobster wellington…just WOW!!! The Rev had a chicken pie.
Chef O then gave us a tour of the kitchens before we tackled the desserts!!! I also got a mini birthday cake. Honestly we could barely move and an overnight stay would have been lovely but we got the train home and then O announced he had rebooked an overnight stay tomorrow *****
