STILL CELEBRATING…

Today was my actual birthday and I’ve been so spoilt and busy blip has been forgotten. Will be on catch up over the next few days !!! :)))

#birthday banners out at the local train station (not actually for me but a girl can pretend!!)
#The Rev and I went back up to London to Claridges.
#this time for breakfast…hence the reason O was so cross that they had messed up the overnight stay booking!! It was delicious and I got another birthday cake (number 2). Wonderful service and tasty food. That actually was a good deal….compared to afternoon tea in London!!
# Tonight we are staying in The Berkeley Hotel at Hyde Park (ridiculously expensive but with O’s staff discount it was cheaper than a travel lodge!!)
# The Rev and I then went along to Excel centre to see the Tutankhamen Immersive Exhibition. It was very interesting, the 3D part was fascinating and holographic walkthrough was clever but a bit scary.
# when we got shown to our room there was another birthday cake (No3!!), pastries, nuts and fruit and a complimentary glass of champagne!!! How the other half live.
# we went up to the roof top pool. The water was warm but it was windy so we went down to the spa for a swim, sauna and steam.

In the evening we had an M&S ready made salad!!! We were still so full!! We watched films of our boys as babies as The Rev has had them put on a hard drive…probably my best gift of all. Memories are everything xx
