Scenes along the bike trail
With a very warm, dry and sunny day in store, our painter showed up early and was finally able to start some painting, rather than just prep work - the last three days there’s been rain every day. I was out this morning at Bible study at church, continuing with Adam Hamilton’s excellent book Seeing gray in a world of black and white. I stopped at the library on the way home to pick up two books I had requested. After a coffee and an apple for lunch, we went cycling on the Little Miami trail, starting from Corwin, and heading north for 12 miles return. On the way back we saw a sight new to us, a drone crop spraying, lower right in my collage. When we got home, I had time to do some preparation for this evenings meal, before going out to handbell practice. Our daughter Jen was driving up from Georgia today, and spending the night and tomorrow morning, before continuing on tomorrow to Hocking Hills to join Laura for her bachelorette weekend. Laura has rented a large AirBnB, and I believe there’s about 10 or 11 going. I know it’s well ahead of her wedding in September, but I imagine she was thinking she’d arrange it before the summer when people will be going on vacation etc! Jen arrived about 7.45, after having some construction delays in Tennessee. We enjoyed dinner together, and then some more conversation over coffee afterwards, but by 11pm Jen was ready for bed, and now I've got my blip done, so am I!
